Oversampling (2x / 4x / 8x) wraps the distortion core — up-sample, distort, down-sample — with a crossfade so switching never clicks. Dry/wet is delayed by exactly the oversampling + FIR latency, so the mix never smears transients. Bypass is a true bypass; Mono mode sums first for a focused, phase-safe sound.
Deep when you want it
The main row stays clean. Underneath: a full modulation matrix and tools for the sessions that need them.
Motion A / B
Two LFO sources, assignable to any control — including the two motion filters that sweep pre or post distortion. The rings on the plugin follow live, so you see the modulation moving as it plays.
Envelope C
A dedicated envelope follower on the input. Use it to duck the drive on the transient or swell the tone after the hit — no sidechain routing needed.

FAQ
What exactly is "asymmetric" distortion?
Most distortion is symmetric — the top and bottom of the wave are treated the same, which adds odd harmonics and eats into the body. VShaper lets you treat the two sides differently: keep one side intact for body while crushing the other for edge. That's where the width comes from — without the mud.
What does the Symmetry control actually do?
It sweeps the pre-tilt of the distortion curve from full asymmetric to a fully killed side. Halfway is where most "normal" distortion lives; the extremes are where VShaper earns its name. One continuous control re-voices the entire character.
Is oversampling automatic?
You choose 2x, 4x or 8x — 4x is the sweet spot for extreme settings. Switching crossfades so it never clicks, and the dry/wet mix is delayed to match, so nothing smears.
How many machines can I activate?
One key = two activations — your main machine and a backup (or a friend, if you trust them). Deactivate the old machine first when switching.
Is there a Mac / AU / AAX build?
Not yet. Shipping Windows VST3 first is honest. macOS and AU are planned. We will not take money for a format that does not exist.
