FAQ
What exactly is "asymmetric" distortion?
Most distortion is symmetric — the top and bottom of the wave are treated the same, which adds odd harmonics and eats size. VShaper lets you treat the two sides differently. That's where the width and density come from: you can keep one side intact for body while crushing the other for edge. It's why it adds size instead of just dirt.
How many machines?
The license is personal — install it on the machines you produce on. Don't share the key.
Is there a Mac / AU / AAX build?
Not yet. Shipping Windows VST3 first is honest. macOS and AU are planned. We will not take money for a format that does not exist.
Can I try it first?
No time-limited trial — the on-page Dry / Wet clips let you hear exactly what it does, and the waitlist gets release news first.
Is it out now?
It's in private beta. We're taking our time and listening to testers before we open the shop. Join the waitlist and you'll hear exactly when Buy goes live.
Refunds?
Digital delivery is instant, so the EU 14-day withdrawal is waived at checkout when you agree to immediate delivery. If the plugin is defective and we cannot fix it, we refund within 14 days. See Terms.
Updates?
Bug fixes are free. We are a one-man studio — we ship them because we use the tools, not because a contract says so.
